Lilacs in Bloom!

Good things come to those who wait. (We really had no choice but to wait here in Wisconsin, did we?)  Ironically, this sentiment could be applied to other areas in our life right now too… I’ve heard it said, “God is never late, but He’s rarely early.” His timing is perfect, we remind ourselves.  And the lilacs are right on time…they are bursting open all over this town.  The sight and scent of lilacs remind me that summer is on its way…

I am excited about the card I found to CASE from the Artisan group at Stampin’Up.  It is perfect for making a symmetrical design using the new STAMPARATUS tool which will be available for purchase on June 1st.  Wanna learn how to do it?  check my Facebook page for the video or come to the next Buffet Class on June 12th…sign up NOW so I’m ready for you!

SUPPLIES FOR LILAC CARD: (Some supplies and tools are not listed as they are in the new catalog which will not be available until June 1st! )  I have also listed the bundles for this card that are available NOW and until May 31st .  find the supplies on page 177 and check out the bundles on my Stampin Up website  page.

What a great technique we learned at the last buffet – no two are alike! Here is one for a masculine card and perfect for those Rustic Road Travelers on a bike!  Use it for birthdays, Father’s Day and more.  Of course, I love the vintage look of crumb cake and have played with several designs to use at the next buffet.  We will also use the burlap background stamp and/or some burlap cardstock hidden away in my paper stash!  Remember to sign up and come get your new catalog!

Enjoy this beautiful Wednesday and the smell of the lilacs!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stay InKy!

 HeartFelt Designs

Just a quick hello to all my Blog followers AND I do apologize if you get this message more than once but I feel committed to this request.  As we get to more interesting ages, milestones in life become more important and need to be recognized.  Please read the post below and make a card for this dear lady turning 90 on Tuesday…it would make her day to be flooded with cards.

I encourage you to send the LOVE this week or even next and then send me a copy of your card creation. Afterall,  this months’ Stampin’ Up Theme is “Share what we do!”  (send LOVE in the mail!) This is the message I received from Pastor Dana Erbeck.

This lady doesn’t know it but her daughter Barbara Palmer is requesting a CARD SHOWER for her Moms 90th birthday on May 15. Even if you have never met her but know me & trust me, this lady is a gem– please send her a card. If you are her friend from past to present please send a card too. We are hoping she will get at least 90 cards! Thanks in advance. Her address is:
Betty Pittman, 717 Syme Ave.,  Glenwood City, WI 54013.

Let’s turn this into something special for you, too.  If you submit a picture of your card to me by email, snail mail, PM, or some means of which I am unaware, I will have a prize for the winner!!!  Here is mine with a slot inside to tuck in a bookmark or a little something special.

Thanks for going out of your way to make Betty Pittman feel the LOVE!
Be blessed for your good works!  It’s what we do for OTHERS that counts.
THANKS for stopping by.
