What a beautiful day. We were by the water in Hudson where I think there were more boats than people. So it made it difficult to get my head wrapped around a fall seasonal card . I’ve had much difficulty publishing it until now. VICTORY!!! So I ask your patience and understanding as we plug away at perfecting this process.
If you don’t have the supplies to make this card you can come to the next class to make it or you can purchase them on my website by clicking on the product pictures below.
I don’t want to rush through this wonderful summer by introducing fall crafting but I am aware of the speed with which the 2017 calendar is moving. Beautiful Fall will be on our doorstep before we know it so here is a simple card for a beautiful season. I love the richness of copper embossing powder. Heat embossing is so easy to do and adds an artistic touch to almost any card. Copper foil is very popular and was on backorder last year because the demand was so high. Plan ahead if you want to use it next season.
Base card: Rich Razzleberry cardstock cut @ 81/2 x 5 1/2
Cut DSP 5 1/4 x 4 then cut in half . I used 1 side for top and the other for the bottom.
Cut rich razzleberry 4x 1 3/4 background for label
Cut mint macaron 3 3/4 x 1 1/2. Lightly rub embossing buddy over Mint Macaron strip to reduce static electricity. Stamp sentiment of choice on Mint Macaron with versa mark. Sprinkle copper embossing powder over sentiment. Turn over and tap excess in container. Use fine paint brush to remove lines and sprinklings. Turn on heat tool and emboss the sentiment. Then glue to the rich razzleberry strip
Glue DSP onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock
cut leaf of choice with copper foil. Attach to card with dimensional so it creates an interesting texture.
Adhere sentiment to rich razzleberry strip then to center of card. Attach dimensionala to back of leaf(s) and add to front of card.
Glue DSP strip 1/2 x 3 3/4 to bottom of white cardstock 3 3/4 x 5. Then attached to inside of card.
So happy to share this card with you. I hope you are subscribed to my blog to receive more recipes. Your comments and suggestions are most appreciated.
