WORLD CARD MAKING DAY – a day dedicated to doing what you love most—making handmade cards! It celebrates the creativity and personal connection handmade cards create between loved ones, and it’s a great time to offer you a chance to make  your own cards to send to YOUR family and friends.  Email your creations to me and I will gladly post them on our Facebook page. I have a special treat for anyone who brings their creation to the buffet on October 10th.

This year the world celebrates the day on October 7, but one day wasn’t enough for Stampin’Up . For ten days (October 1–10), we can get 15% off Notecards & Envelopes and select stamp sets. Also, when you buy Fast Fuse Adhesive, you’ll get two refills for FREE! These items will help you celebrate the best hobby of all—cardmaking!

Buffet Class – Tuesday – September 12th

Hi Stampers!

I hope you have this buffet class on your calendar because you are going to love the Fall assortment of cards.  I just have to share this one inspired by Mary Fish.  I like texture so I added the leaf embossing and copper embossed sentiment.  I think copper embossing just adds so much pizzazz to the card.

The new leaf punch is fun to work with.  All the colors blend together but something was missing….some copper foil leaves.  When I added them, they perked up the whole card.  Come to the buffet and take a little time to  make this one.  I can guarantee it will get you ready for the season.  I keep thinking of other ways to use this pattern – Christmas,, colorful birthday, baby shower, monotone, sparkling combo, spring, patriotic,  etc.

The photo doesn’t show the beauty of this card. The colors look way too bright against the white card stock but at least you get the idea!

Come give it a try on Tuesday at the Knapp & Stout Coffee House in Downsville.  Did you remember to sign up?  If you communicated with me about coming, I have you on the list. I am happy to have guests of stampers coming, too.  It will be fun to meet your friends and neighbors.  Doors open at4:30 BUT we are usually set up early and the coffee, ice cream, and bakery are always available.  Come before class and grab a bite to eat
