WCMD – WORLD CARD MAKING DAY – brought out the best in everyone!! These stampers were prompted to make creative works of art. Look at what was shared at the October Buffet. Be sure to comment and let us know what you think.
Meet KAREN FORD who shared her incredible talent not only for cards but for paper crafting projects as well. (More to come on the next blog) Here are her creations for WCMD. The mini card at the end was tucked inside that OUTSTANDING paper crafted purse. I was so excited to see what she produces in her craft room!
Meet DIANE BAUER a frequent contributor to this blog with her unique cards. Each one a bit different but with her own creative flair. She did a series of these halloween cards with fussy cut hats from DSP sold on the clearance rack. She said that once she started she couldn’t stop cutting those cute hats which were different for every card!
These retiform technique cards were also designed by DIANE BAUER – so good at using an idea and creating her own design! Take a look at these creations from just a couple of samples of the easy retiform technique!
Meet ELAINE WERNER whose detailed card impressed us all. The photograph barely shows the intricate detail in this multi-fold card – a scrapbook piece in a card! Take a close look at that Menomonie paper!!! Watch the next blog for her cute paper craft project.
Meet DIANE EDWARDS a long time stamper who does unique work in her craft room. She loves to watercolor and adding unusual touches to her cards…notice the guinea hen feather on this wonderful card.
A BIG THANK YOU to all for sharing your talent for making cards. I hope this inspires you – the readers of this blog – to contribute your cards even if you don’t come to the buffet. I would love to post them. Just send them to me with any details you care to share and I will be happy to include you in the next blog posts. Sharing is a big part of the Stampin’Up Community – it sparks the creativity in all of us. Creativity is a natural gift and we all have it – all we need is an outlet to express it.
Come to the next buffet NOVEMBER 13th at the Quality Inn and Suites in Menomonie WI. If you can’t join us be sure to order the kits for the cards (which includes everything but the adhesive) to make them at home. Kits are $2.50 each – minimum of 5 kits for mailing plus shipping.

I go by Diane, so no worries! Much prefer it to Diana! When I was little girl, I changed my spelling……when I graduated I had to use my birth name for my diploma, forgot that it was Diana! I had been going by Diane for years!

Funny I did the same thing – changed y to an I for Sandi in college…then I hyphenated my last name when I got married and created a real mess!!! Funny how that goes….thanx for the explanation…not sure which I have in all my notes for you…ha…may use it intermittently but glad to know I can. Happy day!
